ColVis and FixedColumns

I've noticed a few problems with the interaction between the ColVis and FixedColumns plugins. Is it possible to not show Fixed Columns in the ColVis drop down list? Hiding a fixed column just causes the first non-fixed column to become cropped or hidden by mistake. I'm using the latest dev version of ColVis (1.0.9.dev) and FixedColumn (2.5.0.dev).
