Value of hidden field

Hi,

I have started using datatable very recently. I was wondering how can I achieve this:-

1. I want to display a selectable table with a hidden column.
2. I want to use hidden column as ID for each row selected and perform actions based on that ID.

I am stuck at last part of the above objective i.e. identifying a row by ID after a row is selected.

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
