loading data to datatable

hi
i have a drop down list box and a data table. the table should get updated based on the value selected in the drop down. i have used sajaxsource to call the function.the function is called only during the page load. i have written the datatable function in the drop down change event. change event gets fired when i change the data but the function(from sajaxsource is not called)
