sDom: table tools, JqueryUI, and aligning the buttons

I am using table tools buttons with jqueryUI, works great but I would like to add some whitespace in between where the buttons appear, and where the search box is. (Or even better, left align the buttons and right align the search box - or vice versa).

I beleive this is accomplished using the sDom parameter, but im not sure how.
Suggestions?
