I'm new to this, but when my datatable returns a result set of say, 1000 rows, and the user enters "Smith" which filters the set down to 10 rows, I would like to be able to extract only those 10 records to excel. But it appears that the entire 1000 rows is still there and getting extracted. If you understand what I'm trying to do, is there any good way to do it? (sorry, I am new to this) thanks
